The oil glands in male skins are smaller than the oil glands of female skins, but despite that fact the skin of men is oilier as compared to the skin of women. The reason for this difference is that the male skin generates more oil secretions because of testosterone, which is a male hormone.

Another difference between the skins of men and women is that male skin is thicker as compared to the skin of women. Because of this the UV rays of the sun cause more damage to female skin as compared to male skin. The male skin is more delicate than female skin. This sounds surprising but this is true because of a number of different factors.
